KX-NT136

Panasonic makes VoIP cost-effective and easy to use, with a choice of two IP telephones. Sound quality is excellent, as you expect from a leading name in home and professional audio.

KX-NT136 looks and works exactly like the familiar KX-T7636 office telephone, with 24 programmable buttons and a large liquid crystal display. It is the perfect solution for telecommuters who want their home office telephone to look and perform just like their office telephones.

The new model will be available in Spring 2006. We don't have a model number yet, but we understand that it will look similar to a KX-T7000 series telephone (pictured), but with 12 programmable buttons (rather than 24) and a smaller liquid crystal display. Pricing is expected to be about 25% below the KX-NT136, or about the same as the familiar KX-T7636 office telephone.

Both models can have multiple Line buttons, Incoming Call Distribution Group buttons, DSS buttons, fixed and flexible Feature buttons, and built-in headset jacks. Unlike competing brands, you don't have to "navigate" through a series of screens to find a basic function. Everything works the same way as it does on the Panasonic digital phones you already have in your office.

Panasonic IP phones are ideal for distributed call centers, as well as for telecommuters and virtual offices.
